- The tour fees for our guides. Our tour guides are well educated, caring, and professional. Most of them have their PhDs in Church history, archeology, philosophy, languages, or Theology.
- Luggage handling. Please pack light, one piece of luggage and one carry-on.
- Dress casually throughout the whole trip. Shoulders and knees should be covered when visiting basilicas or churches.
- If you are traveling alone and you allow us to find you a roommate, you don't pay the single supplement. If you wish to have your own room and you are not open to rooming with another passenger, then the single supplement fee is $1,400.
- Wheelchair can be provided for those passengers who cannot walk, with prior notice at registration for $150. A traveling companion has to push the wheelchair throughout the trip.
- NOTE: If you wish to deepen your knowledge of the Catholic Faith as a preparation for this pilgrimage, we recommend the following book as it is faithful to the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church (Imprimatur by ARCHBISHOP FELIPE AGUIRRE FRANCO): The Catholic Faith in Easy Terms. Introduction, Nihil Obstat, and Imprimatur by Archbishop Felipe Aguirre Franco.
- At the time of registration, as a part of the total balance, a non-refundable $500 deposit is due in the form of a credit card. For example, if your trip costs $3,700, when you sign up, you pay a $500 deposit, then your balance would be $3,200. Final balance is due 4 months before departure date.
- One month after registration, a $1,000 additional deposit is due only in the form of cash, personal check, cashiers check, or money order.
- If you sign up after the final payment due date or at the last minute, you pay the entire cost of the trip at registration only in the form of cash, personal check, cashiers check, or money order.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Departure from the USA.
Day 2: Arrival. Tour of the city by bus. Dinner and overnight in Seoul.
Day 3: Visit the Danggogae Martyrs’ Shrine, Saenamteo Martyrs’ Shrine, the Jeoldusan Martyrs’ Shrine, home to the relics of 27 saints. In the afternoon, we will visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Bukchon Hanok Village, a charming area rich in traditional Korean culture. Dinner and overnight in Seoul.
Day 4: visit to Gahoe-dong Church, where the first Mass of the Korean Catholic Church was celebrated. Walk along the “Good News Road” in downtown Seoul taking you back to the great history of Catholicism in South Korea. Visit to Myeondong Cathedral (the seat of the Archbishop of Seoul), the homes of John the Baptist Yi Byeok and Thomas Kim Beom-u, the Jongno Catholic Church, the “Eternal Life Road,” visiting the site of the beatification of 124 Korean martyrs, Seosomun Shrine History Museum, and Yakhyeon Shrine. Dinner and overnight in Seoul.
Day 5: Travel to Chon Jin Am, the birthplace of Korean Catholicism and walk along the Way of the Cross of this significant shrine. It is a day of prayer and reflection. Dinner and overnight in Seoul.
Day 6: Travel to the burial site of St. Andrew Kim Taegon at Mirinae Holy Ground. Continue to Solmoe Cathedral and village, the birthplace of St. Andrew Kim Taegon, the first Korean Catholic priest, and finish the day by visiting the stunning Gongseri Catholic Church, the site of 32 martyrs. Continue on to Cheonan. Dinner and overnight in Cheonan.
Day 7: Visit Haemi International Sanctuary, established to honeor all Catholic martyrs of South Korea. Proceed to visit the Order of St. Benedict Waegwan Abbey, and then off to Daegu. Dinner and overnight in Daegu.
Day 8: Visit the Namsan-dong Catholic Town in Daegu, the Seongmodang Church, the Daegu Cathedral and the Hanti Martyrs’ Shrine. Dinner and overnight in Daegu.
Day 9: Travel to Busan, Korea’s metropolitan coastal city. Visit the UN Memorial Cemetery, the Namcheon Cathedral, the Gamcheon Culture Village with its colorful houses. Dinner and overnight in Busan.
Day 10: Visit Busan's Catholic Street. Enjoy a scenic ride aboard the Haeundae Sky Capsule, offering panoramic views of the city’s coastline. Dinner and overnight in Busan.
Day 11: Fly back home.
Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards. Since we have several different trip configurations touring at the same time, it is likely that groups on different tours will be combined when their itineraries overlap in certain areas.
