- The tour fees for our guides. Our tour guides are well educated, caring, and professional. Most of them have their PhDs in Church history, archeology, philosophy, languages, or Theology.
- Luggage handling. Please pack light, one piece of luggage and one carry-on.
- Dress casually throughout the whole trip. Shoulders and knees should be covered when visiting basilicas or churches.
- If you are traveling alone and you allow us to find you a roommate, you don't pay the single supplement. If you wish to have your own room and you are not open to rooming with another passenger, then the single supplement fee is $1,400.
- Wheelchair can be provided for those passengers who cannot walk, with prior notice at registration for $150. A traveling companion has to push the wheelchair throughout the trip.
- NOTE: If you wish to deepen your knowledge of the Catholic Faith as a preparation for this pilgrimage, we recommend the following book as it is faithful to the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church (Imprimatur by ARCHBISHOP FELIPE AGUIRRE FRANCO): The Catholic Faith in Easy Terms. Introduction, Nihil Obstat, and Imprimatur by Archbishop Felipe Aguirre Franco.
- At the time of registration, as a part of the total balance, a non-refundable $500 deposit is due in the form of a credit card. For example, if your trip costs $3,700, when you sign up, you pay a $500 deposit, then your balance would be $3,200. Final balance is due 4 months before departure date.
- One month after registration, a $1,000 additional deposit is due only in the form of cash, personal check, cashiers check, or money order.
- If you sign up after the final payment due date or at the last minute, you pay the entire cost of the trip at registration only in the form of cash, personal check, cashiers check, or money order.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Departure from the USA.
Day 2: Arrive in Cairns, Australia. You will be met and transferred to your hotel for time to relax and meet your fellow pilgrims. Dinner and overnight in Cairns.
Day 3: Spend the afternoon exploring the underwater world at the Cairns Aquarium. Get up close with marine life from the Great Barrier Reef and surrounding rainforests. Grab lunch at a nearby restaurant or cafe. Enjoy panoramic views of the city as the sunsets over the ocean. Dinner and overnight in Cairns.
Day 4: After breakfast, Embark on a full-day tour to the Great Barrier Reef. Choose from snorkeling, diving, or simply cruising around the reef. Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard the tour boat. Head back to Cairns in the late afternoon or early evening. Dinner and overnight in Cairns.
Day 5: This morning we leave Cairns and fly to Sydney. You will be transferred to your hotel for time to relax. Dinner and overnight in Sydney.
Day 6: After breakfast, you will visit St. Mary's Cathedral, one of the most prominent Catholic churches in Sydney. After lunch, explore the Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy at St. Mary MacKillop Place. Celebrate mass at a local church. Enjoy a scenic harbor cruise to see Sydney's iconic landmarks, including the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Dinner and overnight in Sydney.
Day 7: Start your day with Mass at one of the local churches, such as St. Patrick's Church Hill or St. Benedict's Catholic Church. Visit the Mary MacKillop Chapel at North Sydney, where you can pray and reflect in the presence of relics of Mary MacKillop. After lunch, explore the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary at Blacktown, a significant Catholic pilgrimage site in Western Sydney. Take a tour of the Missionaries of Charity Sisters' Convent, where Mother Teresa's Sisters of Charity reside. Dinner and overnight in Sydney.
Day 8: After breakfast, start your day with a visit to one of the world's most iconic landmarks, the Sydney Opera House. Take a guided tour to learn about its history, architecture, and the performances held there. After exploring the Opera House, Head to The Rocks, Sydney's historic district. Explore its cobblestone streets lined with heritage buildings, boutique shops, and lively cafes. Do not miss the weekend markets for unique souvenirs and local crafts. Dinner and overnight in Sydney.
Day 9: Today we leave Australia and fly to Christchurch, New Zealand. Upon arrival, we join our bus for a drive to the hotel with sightseeing enroute. We have a stop at the Antarctic Center, which was designed to give firsthand experience of the Great White Continent. The center features experimental exhibits, live displays and a real snow and ice experience. A dinner meal will be provided in private homes, for you to have an up close and personal encounter with the kind people of this land. Dinner and overnight in Christchurch.
Day 10: After breakfast, spend the day at Christchurch "The Garden City of New Zealand." Christchurch is often called the "most English town outside of England" complete with the Avon River and Cathedral Square. Dinner and overnight in Christchurch.
Day 11: Travel today will take us to Queenstown taking us through some of the most spectacular scenery that New Zealand has to offer. Upon arrival in Queenstown, we are free to enjoy all the city has to offer. Dinner and overnight in Queenstown.
Day 12: After breakfast, drive to the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, gateway to the Fiordland National Park. We can view Mirror Lakes as we continue through the Eglinton Valley. A magnificent Fjord cruise is part of this unforgettable experience as we journey to the mouth of the Sound and see seals and dolphins at play. We will return to Queenstown for the night.
Day 13: Fly back home.
Please note: We do our best to ensure that all sites listed in this itinerary will be seen. However, due to scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances beyond our control, sites may be visited on a different day than listed. If this happens it will also necessitate a change in the restaurant for dinner. However, we will never sacrifice the quality of the meal, all restaurants will meet Proximo Travel's very high standards. Since we have several different trip configurations touring at the same time, it is likely that groups on different tours will be combined when their itineraries overlap in certain areas.
